Do you offer custom finishes?
Yes, every piece of Moissonnier furniture can be customized: we offer a wide range of nearly 70 stains, patinas and decorative effects. Samples are available on request to help you make the right choice.
What types of wood do you use?
Our furniture is mainly made from oak and beech, sourced from French sustainably-managed forests and PEFC-certified. We give priority to local sawmills and full traceability, in an ethical and eco-responsible approach.
Where is Moissonnier furniture made?
All our furniture has been designed and manufactured in France, in our Bourg-en-Bresse workshops, since 1885, using traditional craftsmanship methods.

What are the lead times?
The standard lead time is 8 to 10 weeks, with up to 12 weeks or more for complex bespoke creations. This lead time starts from order validation, including plans and finishing.

Maintenance
How do I maintain my Moissonnier furniture?
Our handcrafted finishes demand special care:
- After a few months, you can wax the furniture with a light beeswax to revive the shine.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, which can alter the shades.
- Pad varnishes are sensitive to hot, alcoholic or abrasive liquids.
- Clean with a soft duster (wool-type).
