Because every piece of furniture produced by Moissonnier has a heritage value: it has been designed to last for decades, and to be handed down from generation to generation. The object of the craftsmen’s constant attention, it is made from natural materials and manufactured with products that have no impact on the planet. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Local and certified<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Starting, of course, with wood, a natural and renewable resource. Every tree used to design Moissonnier furniture comes from a French forest (Burgundy, Franche-Comt\u00e9…) that is ecologically managed, PECF or FSC certified and untreated. We source our wood from partner sawmills based within a 30 km radius of the factory, to encourage local sourcing and limit the impact of transport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Recycling and respect for the environment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Scrap wood, sawdust and shavings are recovered and fed into the factory’s heating system. The factory is also equipped with particle filters to limit the diffusion of pollutants into the air. Patinas are created using water-based hard coats and water-based acrylic paints. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
